Anarkali for a friend’s Cocktail

That’s my SIL! She sat with Mansi Gupta (who runs her label - Regalya - out of Le Meridian in Delhi) and got this gorgeous red anarkali designed. Sakshi spent a lot of time figuring out the perfect shade of red, and Mansi decided they should go for small, elegant embroidery all over the yoke since big, bold designs neither suit Sakshi, nor does she like them. A big raw silk border in the same shade of red provided some structure, and the dupatta has light mukesh work (those tiny specks of silver that look like a starry night) all over it. The only accessory is golden bangles - alternating between light and dark golden. All in all, a great way to look graceful and like a bomb - all in one! :)
