I’m going to make this post short, and wrap it up really quick – because it mainly serves as a reference guide to the Vogue Wedding Show, which will end in another hour, so a lot of this information is relevant to guides who are at the show RIGHT NOW.
You MUST visit the DLF Emporio Wedding & Gift Registry. Why? One, because a gift registry is a brilliant idea for your wedding – imagine getting gifts you had on your wish list, and only those gifts! And two, because they’re giving away VOUCHERS WORTH INR 10,000 to anyone who registers TODAY! The voucher has no hidden T&C – I got one myself! I have a birthday coming up, so I made myself a gift regisrty for that! 🙂 You can shop at Bottega Veneta, ETRO, Jimmy Choo, Luxxe Box, Paul Smith and TUMI using that voucher.
Christian Louboutin obviously has very pretty shoes. The whole world knows that. But did you know they also customise shoes? They can make you pretty much anything you want – you get to choose the base color and material (leather, satin, etc) as well as what design you want on it, from just your wedding date in sequins to a full of glitter pair of heels, everything is possible here! I got a goodie bag from their representative here – Louboutin takes care of it’s clients in style!
You should also check out Atlantis (The Palm Dubai), Taj Group and One & Only Resorts to plan you destination wedding and honeymoon. Atlantis has two suites that have massive aquarium walls literally in the room! And One & Only Resorts have some beautiful properties – I met Adele here (a very sweet lady from Cape Town) who helped me with planning my next trip!
All in all, the first ever Vogue Wedding Show was a pretty brilliant idea that was very well executed. The show went off without a hitch – atleast for the visitors! Next year, I hope Anamika Khanna takes up a bigger space because a lot of people were obviously interested in her designs, and she needs space to accommodate the large number of visitors! Thank you, Vogue! And a big thank you to all the wedding experts who were so warm and welcoming, it was a pleasure meeting all of you!
