“I had planned on wearing an anarkali to my cousin’s wedding, but I spotted a cape at Carma in Malcha Marg, and was drawn to the cut and style. So I went to this boutique at Rohtak Road that I frequently visit (called Parichhay) to get a cape made! The work on this is zari, with some sequins thrown in, and it’s all made by hand. I bought it keeping in mind that the cape can be worn with palazzos on another occasion. For this event, I paired it with my mother’s kundan earrings and a few gold bangles on one hand. For my hairstyle, I went for a messy bun with twists & curls.”
It’s hard to find a cape this subtle & gorgeous, that still looks worthy of a wedding. The shade of blue is doing wonders to the outfit, and I absolutely love that I finally found a cape someone wore to a wedding that I absolutely adored!
I simply love this❤. Can you tell the material you used to make it.
