“I actually went looking for an outfit to wear on Rakhi. I wanted something traditional & classy, and that could be comfortably worn all day. Typically, I prefer outfits that are re-usable multiple times, and that’s only possible if the work is of an “evergreen” kind style. I picked this gold ensemble up at an exhibition in Delhi’s Crowne Plaza. The girls at the stall were from Dubai, and they were called “Saman Tamana.” I loved how elegant the piece was, and I thought gold on gold looked rich, classy, yet subtle. I paired it with gold chandbalis from Ritika Sachdeva (on Pernia’s Pop Up Shop) and juttis from Needledust. Since my cousin’s Haldi was a day function, I thought the colour of this outfit was perfect for it!”
I’m a fan of this evergreen outfit! Everything about it oozes elegance, and Tanya paired it with the perfect pair of earrings and juttis (I LOVE Needledust designs, btw!)
